Dana Rutherford is grateful to be a second year Ph.D. student in Dr. Liu’s Biomaterials and Nanomedicine Laboratory, in UCR’s Bioengineering Department! Aside from working with Dr. Liu and Aaron to develop biocompatibility cell studies for WttB, Dana can be found completing her cardiovascular engineering PhD project. Way back in the day, Dana completed her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and minored in Art History at UCSB, just north of beautiful Riverside.
